How does this work?

Once you have had the opportunity to browse our website and decide on which destination wedding invitation is right for your special day, you can place your order online and our design department will create your invitation using your preferences (theme, wording, colors, etc.) to create an “e-proof” of the invitation of your choice. We then send that e-proof to you via email. You then have an opportunity to make any changes you deem necessary, after which we will send an additional e-proof for your review. We offer two free e-proofs so that you can make changes to create the exact invitations you want.  We also offer samples with our sample names at a nominal price so you can see exactly how your card stock looks before you commit to buying a large quantity.

Do you sell matching save the date cards, menus, programs and place cards?

Yes, for most invitations but not all. All you have to do is pick out the invitation you like and then send us an email at cs@invitationsbyrsquared.com and reference what you want. We will then let you know whether or not we can get it done for the invitation of your choice.

What are your hours of operation?

Monday – Friday
9:00 am – 5:00 pm Eastern
We are closed on weekends and all holidays.

Can I order over the phone?

Ordering online helps prevent any mistakes and / or spelling errors. This will also prevent any misunderstandings.

How many invitations should I order?

We recommend that you order a few extra after you get your final invitation count.

What if I need to cancel my order?

If a customer orders an e-proof then decides to cancel his or her order before the proof has been sent they may get a full refund minus $25 for the proof setup. If we have sent the e-proof, they will get refund minus $75. If a customer has approved the e-proof and your order has gone to production there is no cancellations nor refunds of any kind.

Are envelopes included in the price?

Yes, envelopes are included in the base pricing of all invitations. You can always order additional envelopes if needed.

Can I get a discount if I am ordering a large quantity?

No, however on occasion I will send out a discount code via Social Media. Please “Like” so you get any promotions as they come out.

Can I customize my hard copy mailed sample?

Samples are generic and cannot be personalized. However, after you place your order of 25 or more invitations the manufacturer will send an e-proof within 1 – 3 business days. You can make as many changes as you like to the e-proof and order as many e-proofs as you need. Please be aware that you get 2 free e-proofs after that they are $10 each.

Can I order a sample first?

Absolutely. Shop for beach invitation samples in our sample section. Samples are generic and cannot be personalized. However, after you place your order of 25 or more, we will send an e-proof so between the generic sample(s) and customized e-proof, you can visualize what you will receive.

Can I see a proof before I order?

After you place your order the manufacturer will send an e-proof within a 1 – 3 business days. You can make as many changes as you like to the e-proof and order as many e-proofs as you need. However, the manufacturer won’t render the proofs without an order being placed. Please be aware that you get 2 free e-proofs after that they are $10 each.

Can you explain the quantity box on the order form?

Each product has a quantity with a corresponding price. Ex. Quantity: 75 ($187.90). That price is the base price and will not change unless you add something extra to the invitations.

What are the different paper types?

Felt – toothy textured stock.
Matte – dull finished stock.
Linen – woven textured stock.
Shimmer – shiny & shimmery sheen stock.
High Gloss – glossy finished stock with a smooth photo finish.
Ultra-Cardstock – smooth finish, standard heavy cardstock.

What are the left panel fields on my order form?

If you are ordering a boarding pass, you will see these fields on your order form. This is the information for the left side of the boarding pass.

What is the inner layout

The inner layout is the style you choose for the inside. There is a gallery of inner layout images for each boarding pass and passport located in the description of each item.

What are the right panel fields on my order form?

If you are ordering a boarding pass, you will see these fields on your order form. This is the information for the right side of the boarding pass. If the right panel is detachable, as it will state in the product description, the right panel can be used as an rsvp card. If rsvp wording is used, we will be happy to include printed rsvp envelopes with your order.

What are the paper color options available?

Many invitations are available in white or ecru/cream. Each product page will specify what colors are available in the order form. Specialized colors can be requested and ordered for a customization charge. Contact us for details.

What are the rsvp lines for?

The rsvp lines are for the included response card for your invitation. Here is a standard rsvp verse:

What are your assembly options?

If an invitation needs to be assembled, we send everything as a DIY kit or we can assemble it for you for a nominal fee.

What is a monogram?

A monogram can either be a single letter or three letters to represent a person or couple.

What is a motif?

Some invitations are able to have a small image, icon or graphic called a motif.

What is a set?

When you purchase a set of invitations you are telling us that there will be one set of options and wording with that invitation. You can order 1 set of 25 invitations or 1 set of 100 invitations and it means all of those invitations will have the same wording and options that you’ve chosen on the order form.
If you would like different personalization/wording on each set of 25 or more you will need to enter it as to different sets of 1.

What is included with the rush option?

Rush printing speeds up the time it takes to create your invitation suite. It does not include rush shipping.
It moves your invitations to the back of the line of any other rush order but in front of all others.

What is the background color?

The background color is the color behind your wording or the stock color behind your wording. Usually white or ecru.

What is the jacket color?

If your invitation has an outer jacket that comes in several colors, you will see this option on the order form. If you want the jacket to come in a specialized color, in some cases we can do that for you for an extra production charge. Contact us for more details.

What is the ribbon color?

Some invitations have ribbon included and specific colors are available. However, custom colors can be ordered if you contact us directly. A customization charge may be applied for special colors not listed on the site.

What is the rsvp return address for?

All rsvp cards come with a printed address on an included envelope or on the back of an rsvp post card. Don’t forget to include your names. The post office has regulations regarding this. If you don’t wish to include the address, leave these fields blank. If you don’t want rsvp envelopes at all, please leave a note in the special instructions box to not include them with your order.

What is the text ink color?

Choose the overall color and color tone for your text and wording. There is a Preview Ink Colors box for each items where you can view all available ink colors.

What is the upper panel verse?

The upper panel verse goes on the top of your passport invitations.

What should I put in the special instructions box on the order form?

Special instructions vary from bold the bride and groom’s names to make line 18 smaller than the rest. Special instructions are not required and can be left blank.

What should I put into the wording box?

Put all of your personalization in the wording box.

Where care I find a list of fonts?

There is a Preview Fonts button located at the top of the order form for every item, clicking on it will allow you to view all font options.

Where should I send my photo

If you’ve ordered an invitation with a photo, please e-mail your photo to cs@invitationsbyrsquared.com with your order number in the subject line.

Why are you asking for our names, date, time, location, and web site on the order form?

This information will be placed on your invitation in the appropriate place. If you do not wish to include any of that information you can leave the field blank.

Do you take international currency?

All charges are in U.S. dollars.  International customers are responsible for credit card exchange rates, brokerage and delivery fees, and all tariffs and custom’s charges.

Can I see my invitation before it prints?

Absolutely. You will receive a proof by e-mail within 1 – 3 business days after you place your order. Once you receive your e-proofs you can make as many changes as you like and order as many e-proofs as you need. Your e-proofs must be approved before we will send your order to our production department for printing. Please be aware that you get 2 free e-proofs after that they are $10 each.

What if I need my invitations customized?

If you need more customization than just wording or ink color, please contact us for a customization quote.

What if I need to change my wording?

Your wording can be changed over and over again and numerous e-proofs can be ordered until your wording is perfect. However, once you approve the e-proof and your proof is sent to production for printing, we make no guarantees. Meaning if we catch it before printing has started we will happily change it for you. If however, it has started printing we cannot and will not be able to change the wording. A charge for the change of $10 (if you have already used your 2 free e-proofs) will be issued and a reprint charge will be issued. We will need your payment to clear before we reprint your order.

Where can I see the different pricing options for my invitations?

Find the quantity box on the product page to see the total price for your invitations. Add-ons like rsvp cards and extra envelopes are not included in that price. You will need to select those separately from the matching pieces section.

When will I receive my e-proof?

Proofs are e-mailed within 1 – 3 business days after your payment is processed.

Do you have matching response cards?
